Annapolis, Maryland – Mary Beth Blasetti, a cherished member of the Annapolis and Mount Pleasant communities, tragically passed away on November 9, 2024, following a deadly golf cart accident in Sherwood Forest.
The accident has left her family and friends devastated by the sudden loss of the 26-year-old woman.
Mary Beth, known to loved ones as Mary Beth Devitt, was a dedicated daughter, wife, and animal lover.
She had married Nick Blasetti in 2021, and the couple had enjoyed many adventures together, including raising a dog as a beloved family member.
Mary worked as an Affiliate Account Manager at Golden Hippo and was a proud graduate of West Virginia University and Centennial High School.
Local law enforcement agencies responded quickly to the scene, but despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries.
Her passing has deeply affected both the Sherwood Forest and Annapolis communities, with many expressing their condolences and offering prayers for the Blasetti and Devitt families.
“Prayers for the family during this difficult time,” wrote one community member, while another remarked, “She was loved by so many.”
